In life we make many friends and it seems we have different expectations from each person we become aquainted with. This thread is for discussing what the word "Friendship" means to you and what you think makes a good friend and a bad one.
So what does friendship mean to you?

To me a good friend is someone I can count on no matter what. We don't always have to agree on everything (that would get boring) but we do have to respect each other's feelings. Respect is very important to me when it comes to having a friend.

To me, friendship means having someone "around" when you need to talk, to cry, to sit, to laugh or to just be. Friendship doesn't always have to be with a person you are with all the time. Friendship can be with people you rarely see, but KNOW that they are there if you ever need them.
Friendship is being able to count on someone, no matter the time, place or circumstances. It means looking out for someone besides yourself. It means taking yourself out of the picture and allowing God to minister to someone else through you.

See, that's exactly what I mean, Charity! I never mentioned your name or anyone, but those of you who know me, know that I was speaking to you!
