I have used AOP (lifepacs) off and on for years. I am using their British Lit., History, Bible and science this year as a matter of fact. They are good. I think you will like them. I use a combination each year of some AOP, some SOS and some Alpha Omega and more. For instance, aside from what I am using this year in AOP, we are also using: Keyboard Enterprise-video Algebra SOS-Video Spanish AOP-art Abeka-Government-Economics AOP-English Abeka-grammar and Compostion AOP-chemistry Assorted Vocabulary, Latin, Driver's Ed., etc. Many parents feel as the years go on, that their children do well in one particular subject or more with one curriculum and better in other subjects in other curriculum. We call this, "mix and match". I think you have selected a good curiculum to start out with. God Bless you and your Homeschool.

I definately can see myself mix and matching later, just for now I'm still a newbie and I want to get off on the right foot. And thanks again Charity, you are an amazing resource, I really appreciate all your help.

I use Alpha Omega and have since I started home schooling ten years ago. I love it. At times we skip over some of the boooks or pages as I will want my DD to do other things, but all in all I am VERY happy with it.
