Thank you Charity. You've given me some good information to investigate. My daughter is very intelligent, her IQ is 142 so I am looking for a curriculum that will really challenge her. I am very qualified to instruct her in history, literature, writing and government; basically all of the humanities. I have to admit that I am more than a little unsure of myself when when it comes to math. I hated math. I had horribly abusive math teachers and I still get nauseous when the subject arises. Are these curricula such that an instructor who is week in math would still be able to teach the subject?
I was so happy to see your response. Thanks again. Don P.s. Have you had any experience with a company called sonlight? They sent me a catalog. Their products seem a bit pricey and they use use a history text that they admit is liberal. Should I expect to pay about $1500 a year on a curriculum?

I am a single father of a 12 year old daughter. I am not currently a home schooler. We have had our ups and downs with the public schools over the years and I am to the point that I think that home school is my best option.
I am looking for a curriculum for a very advanced 7th grader (she was reading at the 12th grade level when she was in 3rd grade), that is based in a conservative world view, especially as it pertains to U.S. History and world History. I am so sick of the revisionist history brain washing that I have had to constantly undo.
I hope I am in the right place. I don't see much recent activity on this website.
