Most large homeschool groups now have a graduation and prom as well. Most state level Homeschool yearly conventions are even having large graduations with wonderful keynote speakers, graduation pictures and prom.

Remember that you want to hold your child's graduation at a place that they will most remember with fond memories. My son graduates this year and we have decided at this time, to hold it in our church. I will be posting a lot of my own ideas on this thread as the time gets closer. Most public schools have hundreds of grads and when you think about it, the kids get 3 seconds in the spotlight, just long enough to take their diploma from the principle's hand and walk to the photgrapher for a quick pic. We can do soooo much better than that. I plan to have my son march down the isle of our church and the preacher will be the MC. There will be a 10 minute video of all the stages of my student's life, and this will be the same for any other graduating student there if there are any. I would love to do a photo presentation as well if it is possible. For our guest speaker, I am still working on that. More to come....
