Our homeschooler will graduate next year. We have several options for his ceremony. We can do it with G.H.E.A., The huge statewide graduation for Georgia. Then there is a pretty good sized group we are a member of but not very active. They have about 5 students a years and put on a nice one at the church they use. Then there is our HS group and this would be Good Seed's first graduating student. I had thought about doing it in my church with our smaller but much more intimate group and family members in attendance.
Have any of you had a student to graduate yet? How did you do it? All help and suggestions would be appreciated.

We just graduated our 16 year old daughter two weeks ago. She isn't one for making a big deal out of things, and since my side of the family doesn't agree with homeschooling and my dh's side well they don't speak to each other. What we did was design a nice diploma and that was that. We will be taking her to get a graduation picture done,no cap or gown..she just wants it to be nice. She is going to spend the next year at my oldest daughter's home..that is what she wanted for graduation..besides a computer of her own. Shari
