National Endowment for the Humanities Essay Contest

As part of NEH's We the People initiative, the Idea of America Essay
Contest encourages students to think and write analytically about
significant events and individuals in American history.

As defended by the Supreme Court, parents have the fundamental constitutional right to direct the education of their children according to their beliefs (Wisconsin vs. Yoder [1972]). A right exercised is a right preserved (Acts 22:25-29).
