Jaws, Claws and Dinosaurs
Written by : Kent Hovind

Jaws Claws and Dinosaurs was a great book. I really liked it a lot. The book contained a lot of information about cryptozoology and a lot of pictures. There were a lot of references to dinosaurs and other big and unexplained animals. I learned a lot about cryptozoology and what it means.
In 1948, an anaconda came to a Brazilian village. The snake was 130 feet long and weighed five tons. Now that is one big snake! It took five hundred machine gun bullets to kill the beast.
In 1960, Pascal Mokengui, a Congolese official, spotted a python measuring about sixty feet long. Guiness book of records says that the longest snake ever found was thirty-two feet long. That is plainly not accurate. I wonder why other facts are never added to the fact books. I think it may be intentional.
Big Foot, in my opinion, is just a hoax. I believe that one comes from the evolutionists who are trying to push their “missing link” theory. I believe they have tried to use that to push their fairy tale theory further.
After reading this book I got curious. I searched for and found the movie, “Baby, Secret of the Lost Legend”. I found in the film that is was very close to the information I had read in the book. Especially about Mokele-Mbembe. Just as stated in the book, this creature who lives in the Likoala Swamp in Africa, has been seen by many people. Dr. Roy Mackel is convinced the creature exists, and I tend to believe it too. In 1960, some pigmy hunters killed a long-necked animal which they called “Mokele-Mbembe”.
In March, 1962, Edward McClary saw a Plesiosaur eat four of his friends in
Pensacola, Florida. His story was so sad. He does not speak of it much today. In
Scotland, in 1934, a veterinarian student named Arthur Grant sighted a large creature resembling a Plesiosaur next to the road. This may have been the legendary Loch Ness Monster that many have seen.
In 1938, Marjorie Latimer saw a very much alive Coelacanth at the coast of Africa. This “lobe-finned” fish was thought to have been extinct for millions of years, but, there it was. Since then many schools of this fish have been found.
In 1919, many newspapers in London, England and in New York , were reporting stories about a Brontosaurus which inhabit the swamps of South Africa. Because of these reports, the famous Smithsonian Institute sent out an expedition to Africa to capture the beast. The entire party was killed in a tragic train crash. I wonder if foul play was involved.
In 1932, a Swiss zoologist named A. Monard, tried to track down rumors of a huge reptilian monster in Angola. He did not find what he was looking for, but he did return convinced that “some kind “ of dinosaur inhabited the remote swamp.
Little was heard for a while about Mokele-Mbembe again until 1978, when James Powell Jr., a crocodile expert, was studying crocodiles in Gabon. The Fang people told Powell about the N’Yamba. They picked out a picture of a long necked dinosaur the Diplodicus. They said that was their monster. Powell took this information to Dr. Roy Mackel, a distinguished scientist at the University of Chicago. Since that time many searches have gone underway. I think one day someone will find this creature and many other so called “extinct” animals.
Maybe I’ll go on an adventure myself. After reading this wonderful book, it sure makes me want to. I really liked this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in cryptozoology.
