You will find that many people have a lot to say about what kind of learner your child is. The catchphrases such as kinesthetic, visual, auditory, etc....
I think most kids are a combination of them all. Here is a list of some examples of each.
TYPES OF LEARNERS
VISUAL LEARNERS
1. Tune out when you talk a lot
2. Observe rather than talk or act
3. Organized in approach to task/ learning environment is neat
4. Likes to read
5. Usually good spellers
6. Memorize by seeing graphics and pictures
7. Not too distractible
8. Find verbal instructions difficult
9. Have good handwriting
10. Use advanced planning
11. Remembers faces
12. Quiet by nature
13. Meticulous, neat in appearance
