Well, My son made it through the SAT's and now we wait. He said the english section was easy as well as the essay, but some of the math got a little hairy. I pray everyone who took the test did well.

Where Will Your SAT or ACT Scores Take You? Here's a guide created by the Princeton Review about incoming students' average SAT and ACT scores. It is important to remember that these scores are only a guide; they do not represent cut-off scores for any of the colleges listed. Schools consider many factors when they decide whom to admit. Students should concentrate on grades, extracurricular activities, and taking a varied and intensive course load. The colleges were sourced from The Princeton Review Guide to the Best 345 Colleges, 2002 edition. Average scores were reported by the colleges. *UC schools use an admissions formula that combines GPA, SAT, and SAT II scores. Therefore, the SAT scores of those admitted vary greatly depending on each student's GPA and SAT II scores. Average (Mean) Scores SAT Reasoning Test: The Average (Mean) Verbal and Math Scores Starting in March 2005, the Verbal Section will be called the Critical Reading Section. Scores on the Critical Reading Section are equivalent to Verbal scores. Average score information for the writing section is not available. The test must be given to students for a full year before this information can be provided. Average scores are based upon the most recent SAT scores of all students of a particular graduating class. 2005 College-bound Seniors’ Average Scores Verbal (Critical reading) 508 Math 520 Note: Average scores are based on the most recent scores earned by students in the previous year's graduating class who took SAT tests anytime during high school, and average scores for the SAT writing section will not be available until after the class of 2006 graduates. SAT Subject Tests: The Average (Mean) Subject Test Score The average score varies from test to test. This is because different groups of students take different tests. For this reason, you shouldn't compare scores across the different Subject Tests.
